This project aims to position the POCTEP area as a benchmark for the creation and application of advanced technologies through the strategic integration of quantum technologies (computing, communications and simulation) and artificial intelligence (AI).The project will strengthen research and innovation capacities by encouraging the shared and coordinated use of existing infrastructures, such as supercomputers, quantum networks and AI platforms, with a particular focus on developing solutions in key sectors such as agri-food, healthcare, cybersecurity, energy and the environment.Through specific technological demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities, the project will promote the integration of these technologies into companies and public organisations, ensuring the rapid transfer of knowledge. In addition, the project will foster the development of a hybrid quantum-AI innovation ecosystem connecting research centres, universities, public administrations and companies. This will encourage cross-border cooperation, strengthen the attraction and retention of specialised talent in emerging fields, and contribute to territorial cohesion. The project will promote innovation, helping to reduce technological, economic and social disparities, enhance competitiveness, create skilled employment, and ensure the sustainability of the cross-border scientific and business ecosystem.
